Dear Car Dealers,
Check Engine can stop you from making that huge sale you’ve been praying for
ABS warning can stop you from making that sale and converting your profit
Those things you ignore can stop you from making sales
Put your cars in order, run diagnostics, detect the problems before hand and fix them
You don’t expect me to recommend a bad car to a client who paid me 150K for Pre-purchase Computerized Inspection in order to please you
The client paid for my time and services, so my loyalty lies with them until my time is up, I will protect their interest only until they’re satisfied
When you put your car in order and everything is working properly, you wouldn’t have the need to lie over petty things, block warning lights, or persuading buyer desperately or inducing me with money during inspection
Na you go Dey do shakara sef
Two weeks ago, a dealer lied to a potential buyer that the reason the steering was so hard was because the car is thumbstart and FWD
The young guy refused and called me, it was already 5:30pm, I had to rush and on getting there, dealer was giving me sign
I told the guy, the reason for the hard steering is because of ABS, ESP, Trac Off on dashboard, it’s a fixable issue, but he declined
I tried to convince him but he thought I struck a deal with the dealer even though I didn’t, it was until I instructed the dealer to fix it that the buyer agreed
After fixing the LWSS by about 7:30pm, and calibrating it, warning lights went off and steering became soft and the buyer finally bought the car
Recently, in one of the Pre-purchase Inspections I went to, a man, in his 60s was begging me to help him convince my clients and recommend his car so he could make a sale in months
I felt bad, though he promised to give me 100K even before the client makes payment, but how can I recommend your car Sir when the check engine is blocked, so many short circuits, ABS warning sign showing, bad exhaust system and Clanking noise on 2GR
Not every buyer has the luxury of time or patience to be fixing avoidable issues
When I refused doing his bidding, he got angry and refused talking to me again, telling his colleagues that I prevented him from making sales
Fix those issues, put your car in order so you wouldn’t start playing smart
Even if you hide it, my tools will detect and it’s a red flag
There’s no perfect car out there but try and put your own in order before selling
My aim is to help buyers to buy a good car so both parties will be happy and do more business in the future
Good morning Dealers
Have a great day ahead
